Dr. Heather Miller O.D., F.A.A.O., Diplomate ABO

More about Dr. Heather Miller

Dr. Heather Miller has a distinguished educational and professional record in optometry. She completed an Ocular Disease/Primary Care Residency from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, which is also where she earned her Doctorate of Optometry. While there, she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Honors Society. Her undergraduate degree is from The Pennsylvania State University, where she graduated early with Dean’s List honors.

 

In addition, Dr. Miller is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. She has published several papers that can be found in optometric journals and online. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Pennsylvania Optometric Association, and the Bucks Montgomery Optometric Society. Outside of Bright Eyes Vision, Dr. Heather Miller treats emergency eye trauma and teaches future doctors at The Eye Institute of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

 

In her spare time, Dr. Heather is an avid sports fan, most notably football. She enjoys exercising and outdoor activity, playing with her dogs, and traveling to interesting destinations near and far.

More about Dr. Sue Miller

Dr. Sue Miller is proud to join her daughter at Bright Eyes Vision, where she brings her wealth of optometric experience and knowledge. Dr. Miller attended Simmons College for undergraduate studies with earning a BS in Home Economics Education and a BS in Orthoptics. As part of her Orthoptic curriculum she took the Harvard Post Graduate Course in Ophthalmology and completed a fifteen-month internship at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston. She went on to graduate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry with honors. Over the next three decades, Dr. Sue Miller held various optometric positions in offices, nursing homes, and hospitals alike. She was also an Examiner for the National Board of Optometry.

Dr. Miller is a member of the American Optometric Association, Pennsylvania Optometric Association, and the Bucks Montgomery Optometric Society. Currently, Dr Sue Miller serves as secretary of the board for the Bucks Montgomery Optometric Society.

Dr. Sue Miller has been married to her husband, Larry, for forty years now. She is a proud parent and dog owner. Additionally, Dr. Sue is an established seamstress, having designed and made wedding gowns, dresses, costumes, drapes, and quilts. When not working or sewing, Dr. Sue enjoys relaxing at her house on the jersey shore.
